My client is a well-established security company based in the Manchester who specialise in the installation, commissioning and service of CCTV and access control integration. They have their own access control product which has recently seen a complete upgrade and as a company they are seeing a new phase of growth so are looking for a Technical Support Engineer.
As part of a small support team, you will be providing 1st and 2nd line support for our applications, communicating with the customers via email, phone calls and our service desk application.
• To provide 1st and 2nd line support to customers
• To handle and resolve tickets via Salesforce or a comparable software
• To take ownership of customer issues and take the appropriate steps to resolve or escalate if further support is required
• Regularly communicate with customers on progress and timelines of their issues
• To maintain and enhance the technical knowledge base to aid in future problem resolution
• Experience within the access control and or CCTV industry
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Excellent computer skills
• Good organisational skills, prioritisation, and timekeeping
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Patience and flexibility in the face of changing team priorities
