History

Each year, the Women in Security Awards move between our judging panel and each organisation becomes the host for that year.

 

The first Women in Security Awards were presented to some acclaim at the ASIS 11th European Security Conference and Exhibition in April 2012. (See pics here)

 

In 2013 the Women in Security Awards were presented at the BSIA Dinner on the Monday night of IFSEC. (See pics here)

 

In 2014 the Women in Security Awards took place at the dinner following the Association of Security Consultants annual conference CONSEC. (See pics here)

 

In 2015 the Women in Security Awards were hosted by IPSA at a black tie Chairman’s Dinner in London. (See pics here)

 

In 2016 the Women in Security Awards were hosted by the Security Institute at a black tie dinner following their annual conference in London. (See pics here)

 

In 2017 the Women in Security Awards were hosted by the NSI at a black tie dinner in London. (See pics here)

 

The 2018 Women in Security Awards were hosted by the FSA and took place on board the Dixie Queen riverboat with a dinner/dance cruise on the Thames in London. (See pics here)

 

The 2019 Women in Security Awards were hosted by the SSAIB and took place on board the Dixie Queen riverboat with a dinner/dance cruise on the Thames in London. (See pics here)

 

The 2020 Women in Security Awards were hosted by the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and took place virtually with a live broadcast from the Belfry. (See pics here)

 

The 2021 Women in Security Awards were supported by the Security Industry Authority and took place at a black tie dinner at Shakespeare’s Underglobe in London. (See pics here)
