Business award for overseas work

by Mark Rowe

TALL Security Print, part of the TALL Group of Companies, has won a business award. The provider of secure print and electronic payments services was named International Business of the Year at the annual Halton Business Awards. They are organised by Halton Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise to mark the business achievements of firms operating across Runcorn, Widnes and the surrounds. TALL Security Print was named International Business of the Year in recognition of the services its supplies overseas across the banking, education, electoral and government sectors.

The company supplies a range of products, from cheques, banking documents, certificates and secure documentation, such as car tax discs and registration documents, to ballot papers for presidential, central and local government elections.

Martin Ruda, Managing Director of the TALL Group of Companies, said: “In terms of overseas activity, TALL Security Print has seen its greatest success in Africa where the demand for security print related documentation has been highest, in order to combat the fraudulent use and presentation of official documents. This award is testimony to the hard work and dedication displayed by each member of our team in Runcorn and we now look forward to building on this success as we push ahead with plans for sustained growth.”

Paula Cain, Halton Chamber’s Chief Executive, said: “Yet again, we’ve been amazed at the quality of the entries for this year’s awards. Local businesses are really stepping up to the mark and demonstrating some fantastic success stories. TALL Security Print has set an example of how to achieve fantastic results, both at home and overseas, and we applaud the company’s achievements.”
