UNION at Lockexpo 2017

by Mark Rowe

UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, is showing its locks, cylinder systems and door closers at Lockexpo 2017, at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on the weekend of March 4 and 5. UNION’s on stand B21.

Products on display include the UNION keyULTRA master key, pictured, UNION CE3F door closer and the extended UNION StrongBOLT range.

UNION’s keyULTRA™ master key system is patented until 2028, using DuraPIN technology against unauthorised copying of keys. The standard finish of keyULTRA has recently been revised, so the cylinder range complements the rest of UNION’s architectural hardware offering. Customers can choose from a range of six finishes, including brushed satin nickel, polished chrome, satin chrome, polish brass, satin brass or antique brass.

CE3F door closer

The UNION CE3F door closer is CE Marked and fire rated for metal and fire doors in all three mounting positions: regular, transom and parallel. Supported by a ten-year guarantee, the CE3F is Certifire approved.

StrongBOLT

Part of UNION’s mortice lock range, 5 lever, 3 lever, bathroom locks and Euro and Oval profile cylinder lock cases are all available under the StrongBOLT range. All variants are available in satin stainless steel and polished brass finishes.

Paul Johnson, Commercial Director at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, said: “We have been attending Lockexpo since the show began in 2010, and we’re excited to be returning once again this year. As the UK’s only annual locksmiths’ exhibition, it offers a unique opportunity for us to showcase our innovations all under one roof. As well as exhibiting tried and trusted solutions such as StrongBOLT®, we are thrilled to present two new product offerings: our updated keyULTRA™ range and the new CE3F door closer. British design and product development has helped us ensure our products remain high quality and reliable. Locksmiths continue to turn to UNION’s extensive product range for these very reasons.”
