Securikey at Locksmiths’ Exhibition

by Mark Rowe

The physical security product supplier Securikey is running a promotion on their stand, Number B17, at The Locksmiths’ Exhibition in Nottingham – as well as a chance to win a new Kindle Fire HD.

Both the promotion and the competition centre around Securikey’s Mini Vault safe. With every Mini Vault sold, customers will receive a free property marking kit that includes permanent UV marker pens and warning labels for would-be thieves, sealed in a yellow zipper bag. In the event of a burglary, police can identify equipment marked with the kit and return it to the owner. Customers are free to pass the kits on to their customers or keep them for their own use.

Visitors to the stand can also have win a new Kindle Fire HD, by dropping one of their business cards into the dedicated Mini Vault safe. The winning business card will be drawn at random straight after the show on Sunday and the winner will be presented with their prize immediately or, if not present, will be contacted by a member of the Securikey team.

Available in two ranges, Silver and Gold Fire Resistant, the Mini Vault range can keep valuables such as cash, documents and electronic tablets within a range of applications such as homes, offices and hotel rooms. Also on the stand will be products representing other Securikey ranges, which include Key Control Systems, Self-Retracting Key Reels, Cash Safes and Security Cabinets, Fire Safes and Cabinets, Keylex Mechanical Digital Locks, Convex Mirrors and a variety of Master Lock products.

Copies of the Securikey product brochure will be available for visitors, with colour-coded product sections, data tables and information on compliance with British and European Standards.

A high definition video screen is built into the stand, where visitors can be shown product features, as well as how to access the numerous valuable resources available at www.securikey.co.uk. Designed as a definitive information hub for locksmiths and other industry professionals, the Securikey website incorporates a ‘Help & Support’ section where an extensive range of informative documents can be viewed and downloaded. These include product brochures, printable instructions, price lists, mirror distance viewing charts, cash ratings, fire ratings, installation guides and details of the user’s nearest stockist. Also accessible are a large number of videos demonstrating the impressive features of many products, as well as providing practical advice about lock-programming.

The Locksmiths’ Exhibition, at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, is an annual show for locksmiths and brings together a range of exhibitors within the locks and security sector.
