Illuminating ST17 Midlands

by Mark Rowe

GJD, the British manufacturer of security equipment, is among companies exhibiting at the Security TWENTY 17 Midlands conference and exhibition. GJD will present live product demonstrations of its Clarius PLUS range of Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, pictured; plus its laser sensors and IP motion detectors.

ST17 Midlands is set in the central location of the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Thursday, February 9. Besides the conference that brings together security industry speakers, the exhibition features security products and services.

GJD will be demonstrating its illuminator range, which features an interchangeable lens diffuser system, the latest dual core LEDs and green technology to deliver security lighting solution. Keith Fenwick, CCTV Lighting Director at GJD said: “Clarius PLUS lighting significantly enhances images and allows users to monitor activity in chosen areas without compromising on quality. ST17 events are always really well attended and we are looking forward to showcasing the Clarius PLUS Illuminator range.”

Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators can be used for a range of applications, the Lancashire-based firm says: intruder deterrent, CCTV surveillance, facial recognition, analytics, street lighting and filming for television programs to name a few.

GJD adds that its illuminators go through testing procedures including highly accelerated life testing (HALT), which includes environment, endurance and vibration frequency tolerance testing. On the day of the exhibition, GJD is hosting a business card raffle for a chance to win a bottle of bubbly.

If you register to attend in advance and are an installer, end user, consultant, in the police or the armed forces, or a buyer of security services you will be able to attend the conference for free and be entitled to a free breakfast roll, if you’re an early arriver around 8.45am; and light buffet lunch if you plan to spend the day.
