GJD deal with VMS

GJD, the UK manufacturer of external detector equipment and LED illuminators, has announced a new service deal with VMS, the audio-visual, networking and security installation company. GJD says that it aims to strengthen customer relations and field support.

The new deal will see VMS’s engineers and consultants work with GJD on key projects. VMS will offer field technical support, plus health and safety accreditation.

Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director said: “We are pleased to have VMS as our approved technical service provider, we can now offer an even higher level of service to our customers. Their management team know our marketplace inside out and their standard of work is first class. The ability to bring VMS’s expertise to projects, coupled with the health and safety accreditation they bring is a welcome addition to the GJD offering.

By listening to, and working closely with our customers, we are able to continuously refine and evolve our products and quality systems.”

GJD adds that all its products go through testing to verify the functionality, quality and reliability of finished products. GJD products are industry compliant with the latest regulations including ISO 9001:2008, CE, UL, RoHs, Reach, WEEE and BS8418.

VMS Managing Director, Mark Thomas said: “The new deal will see VMS’ experienced engineers working with GJD offering unparalleled levels of field support, particularly focused on the IP and Laser product sets. VMS will also offer installation and maintenance support to GJD customers providing technical assistance and reducing valuable time on site.
