ATG Access, a road blocker, bollard and vehicle barrier product company, was named Export Champion of the Year at the Amazon Growing Business Awards, on Wednesday, November 29 at The Brewery, London. Judges commended ATG’s expanding into international markets, such as the Asia-Pacific market. Meanwhile ATG products were in use outside the visitor entrance to the UK Security Expo at London Olympia.
Now in its 19th year, the Amazon Growing Business Awards recognise UK SMEs and entrepreneurs. Over the past 10 years, ATG has been investing in its exporting strategy, and has increased its export business 30-times in value, supplying over 40 countries with its security products.
ATG has recently expanded into American markets after dispatching its new surface mounted barrier innovation, Surface Guard, to the United States. Hundreds of Surface Guard units were shipped to the US in November to deter possible attackers from targeting crowded locations. The company says revenue from exports continues to grow and it aims to surpass £10m of sales a year in the next year.
