End users head

by Mark Rowe

At Abloy UK, Steve Wintle is the new Head of Professional End Users (PEU) division. Steve, pictured, has a background in the security industry, having spent 12 years at ASSA, which is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group. Earlier, Steve was UK Sales Manager for Acoustic Ceilings at British Gypsum, and also spent over two years at Kaba access control solutions.

The product firm says that Steve brings to the role his product knowledge and an understanding of the industry, with specific expertise in high security – as this is the division he managed at ASSA.

Steve said: “I’m really thrilled to begin my new role with Abloy UK, and I’m looking forward to using the skills I have gained throughout my long career in the security industry. For me, Abloy is the number one in access control, offering high quality electric, electro mechanical and mechanical security locking solutions, so progressing to this exciting new role really is the cherry on the cake.”
