dormakaba at MLA Expo

by Mark Rowe

Among the companies exhibiting at this year’s MLA Expo from October 6 to 8 at the International Centre in Telford is dormakaba. The company’s stand will showcase cylinder, padlock and door closure products as well as its new cloud based access system, exivo. For the first time, visitors will be able to experience dormakaba’s virtual reality experience.

dormakaba describes exivo as a complete security and access control system, aimed at small to medium sized businesses, as a flexible and intuitive web based system controlled via the cloud to meet the changing needs of a client. It is a fee based solution paid on a price per door basis.

On display, will be dormakaba’s new 300 Lock series, a Mortice lock range for timber and steel doors, plus the new TS98 XEA am-action door closer, which is suitable the makers say for all installation positions.

Also featured will be a range of dormakaba’s cylinder, padlock and enclosure locking ranges. Staff will be able to detail function features, as well as specification and installation advice on products.

The Virtual Design Centre will provide a different means of showcasing its product range. The company’s new VR experience will transport participants to a fully immersive virtual reality world where they can get to know the new company and its products. dormakaba will be running a free safe lock training course in the Atcham seminar room on Sunday, October 8, from 10.30am.
