Contractor sales and customer support

by Mark Rowe

The perimeter fence manufacturer Zaun has appointed two newcomers to its sales and customer support.

Palm Timana fills a new role sales estimator and Vicky Cooper, pictured, takes over as sales and customer support administrator.

Palm has worked in the private sector in manned guarding, CCTV and access control, has enjoyed stints in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Wales, and spent almost five years at the Home Office, first as an immigration officer and then in criminal intelligence.

She has a masters degreee in law and is a graduate of the International Security Program – promoting international relations, peace and security – at Harvard in the US.

Vicky’s experience is in a quite different field. Her career has seen her provide administration and co-ordination in the public and voluntary sectors to support programmes with some of Sandwell’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, such as victims of domestic violence and those with severe mental health issues.

Director Alastair Henman says: ‘2014 has been a marquee year for us. Three months ago we strengthened our delivery team on the back of keynote security projects in the UK and overseas. But we want to ensure we don’t lose sight of our core supply business to fencing installers. These two new roles will enable us to service those customers better, so Palm and Vicky represent vital additions to our team.’ Visit www.Zaun.co.uk.
