Asset protection at CTX 2014

by Mark Rowe

With its largest presence yet at CTX, Technocover will be showcasing new locks and access control options for integrating doors, access covers, cabinets, kiosks and other equipment with access management systems.

Other launches include a new, sustainable and aesthetic lining material option for UltraSecure cabinets and kiosks. The company will also be previewing what it terms a new concept in access control for UltraSecure LPCB padlock system doors which can be retrofitted to models already in the field.

Technocover is an LPCB equipment specialist for the physical protection of critical national infrastructure (CNI). Based in Welshpool, mid-Wales, it adds that it can deliver asset hardening programmes, from site surveys to design and manufacture, installation and maintenance.

Managing Director, Michael Miles, said: “As well as being a platform for our state-of-the-art product capability, CTX will be an opportunity to demonstrate the depth and breadth of our ‘Total Service’ support to clients undertaking physical resilience work. LPCB approved products are core to our offering, but built around this is a host of value adding services that ensure Technocover customers get best value solutions and first class support tailored to their site risk, logistical, operational and commercial needs.”

Technocover will also be highlighting operational features and accessories for security design to meet efficiency and health and safety considerations in the workplace.

John Barty of Technocover will be delivering a presentation on ‘Security of Buildings’ as part of the CTX Day One (April 29) seminars from 14:30 to 14:55 in the Security Solutions Theatre.
