Peli Products UK Ltd has been exhibiting at the Security and Counter Terror Expo since 2009. At the Expo in 2016 at Olympia, the Glossop-based firm launched new products and showed its range of cases, foam protection, torches and area lighting products. Those offer LED scene lighting as a portable alternative to generator-powered units, the firm says. The offer silent operation and no trailing cables to create a trip hazard.
The Peli 9440 Area Lighting is a rechargeable light weighing only 7.3kg, for deployment in searches and investigations. Fully extended, the unit is
over 2 metres in height, providing flood lighting for the working area or emergency scene. The 9440 can retract telescopically to less than a metre
long in the closed position.
