The network video product company Axis Communications has launched mobile surveillance apps for its AXIS Camera Companion and hosted video products.
Peter Friberg, Axis’ Director Solution Management, says: “By completing our offering with our own in-house developed mobile apps we can assure optimal performance and full compatibility with our vast product portfolio. Providing easy remote access to high definition surveillance video gives our customers the tools they need to efficiently secure their operation wherever they are.”
The apps let the user switch from live view to recorded videos from anywhere on their CCTV system. The integrated timeline notifies about triggered events and allows the user to act. Single images and video of interest can be stored to the mobile device and shared.
Axis launched the mobile apps with the updated AXIS Camera Companion 2.2
The apps are available for download free, and compatible with iOS and Android devices. The new app for AXIS Camera Companion is available to download from axis.com.
