Italian roadshow

by Mark Rowe

Dahua Technology, the Chinese manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products based in Hangzhou, recently held a two-day road show on April 10 and 11, with local distributor Videotrend S.r.l.

The two-day event attracted hundreds of local distributors, installers and end users in the region. Dahua’s products such as Eco-Savvy network camera series and PTZ dome series drew attendee interests, the organisers report. HDCVI and the new tri-brid DVR were among the highlights. Dahua’s new tri-brid DVR is compatible with three signals — analogue, IP as well as HDCVI, allowing HDCVI to be integrated with more possibilities and solving interoperability issues, the makers say.

During the two-day event, attenders could see live product demonstration, new technology from the manufacturing house as well as getting to know more about the corporate core values. The event delivered a message that, with Videotrend, Dahua is able to provide support and services in the region, say the organisers.

Pasquale Totaro, President of Videotrend S.r.l, said: “It is a big day for Videotrend, gathering many distributors, not only ours but also from some other brands, they are all impressed by Dahua’s latest products and technologies. The roadshow successfully delivers a message that Dahua is beyond product selling, but also fully capable of innovation, we will work closely with Dahua and introduce new and good technology as well as products to the market to benefit our customers.”

And Elmer Zhang, Sales Director of Europe at Dahua Technology, said: “Local distributors are getting more familiar with Dahua’s branding and products. , with zero-distance meetings and demonstration, it is obvious to present ourselves and easier to gain confidence from clients and potentials. We showed our professionalism to the market and by discussing with local professionals, it helps us to better understand their demand and market trend as well. The event is a great success and we will continue to work with our local partners to penetrate the Italian market as well as throughout Europe.”
