IndigoVision hails US wins

by Mark Rowe

IndigoVision is hailing recent contract wins in the USA. The UK IP security product firm says that new products are being launched every month.

In 2012, IndigoVision USA made the decision to re-launch its business. Marcus Kneen IndigoVision CEO, said: “It was a strategic approach which began with the hiring of Paul Smith, who is an inspiring leader. He introduced a strategy focused on key market verticals, an extensive technical training program and engaging with industry specialist security integrators and consultants. He also expanded the sales team by over 100pc and increased resources in US operations and pre-sales support teams.”

Paul Smith said: “We invested a lot of time listening to VAR partners and end users, to make sure we really grasped what the market needed. We then added the best of what we had learned globally, such as the experience gained from five Olympic Games, 250 cities, and systems for oil and gas covering over 25,000 inputs. The loyalty of our partners in the USA has always been fantastic, and when they saw we were taking action on what they were saying everything started to click.”

Projects IndigoVision has won recently include a regional rail organisation and several regional and national retail groups, along with a 1,200-channel video surveillance solution for the Sycuan Casino – one of the largest single US projects the firm has ever won. Existing installations include the University of Miami Healthcare and the City of Marietta. Visit http://www.indigovision.com
