Cloud outlook

by Mark Rowe

Correct planning is vital for companies looking to adopt Cloud, as a growing number of businesses look towards virtual computing, it is claimed.

Hexaware is attending the Enterprise Cloud Computing and Virtualisation conference in London on Thursday, March 20, where IT and business people will discuss the future Cloud.

The event aims to provide delegates with an understanding of the challenges created by Cloud computing and an overview of the emerging networking, optimisation and management technologies. Hexaware says that it’s committed to providing IT solutions that translate into tangible business outcomes for its customers. In its experience, more and more companies are now looking to invest heavily in Cloud.

Rajesh Nair, systems manager, remote infrastructure management at Hexaware, said: “We have seen a significant increase in the adoption of Cloud in the past couple of years and companies are seriously considering the service as many move towards data centre consolidation.

“In our view, one of the key aspects of investing in Cloud is the impact the Cloud migration will have on the business. The transformation can be disruptive and it’s not an easy process to navigate through. It involves significant planning in defining the roadmap and ensuring the best system is put in place. Organisations need support from partners who can understand their business and bring in the expertise to help find the optimal balance of solutions and methodologies that provide the most value.

“Our framework and approach to the Cloud journey is very unique and the team at Hexaware has a wealth of experience and knowledge in that space which we bring to all of our projects. Our end-to-end offering ensures customers receive strategic consulting and advice to transform the way they leverage IT. This approach ensures Cloud is a transformation model, which is a fully secure IT infrastructure but remains cost-effective.”
