Servest and Bi3 partner

by Mark Rowe

The security division of the facilities management contractor, Servest, has partnered with Business Insight 3 (Bi3). The contract firm says its aim is to improve service line delivery and efficiency; reducing costs while increasing quality. Servest Security will trial technology with clients such as Bi3’s video analytics. By analysing a scene, the technology can drastically the developers say reduce the number of false alarms generated by a CCTV system. The product, which can be retrofitted to CCTV, offers a more efficient way to manage resources; and will also provide clients with reassurance that their assets are protected, the firms say. Other algorithms can provide business insight, including on health and safety, and site management.

Jason Etherington, Servest Security’s managing director, says: “We are delighted to be working with Bi3 as our partner on such an exciting venture. The technology will enable Servest Security to work proactively with clients in order to create and deliver innovative, cost effective and bespoke solutions. Servest and Bi3 are both innovative in spirit so I’m looking forward to seeing the team work together to explore future possibilities. Together we will set the bar higher and continually exceed expectations.”
