Over 50 per cent Floor Space Sold for Security Technology Live 2014

With just under nine months till the launch of Security Technology Live, the dedicated security channel event, organisers Clarion Events have announced the show is well on course for a successful debut with over 50 per cent of current floor space now sold for the event, taking place 13-15 May 2014 at the NEC, Birmingham.

Security Technology Live 2014 has seen a high interest from security manufacturers and distributors keen to meet and do business with the security channel market. Indeed, organisers point out Security Technology Live 2014 will be the event for the security channel to see the launch of new products, solutions and technologies to help grow their business.

Leading names such as Milestone Systems continue to sign up to exhibit at Security Technology Live 2014. Glenn Fletcher, UKI Manager for Milestone Systems, said: “Milestone Systems in the UK are looking forward to meeting the installers, resellers and distribution partners next year at the Security Technology Live event at the NEC. We are committed to working very closely with the channel, and we are sure that this (Security Technology Live) will be an excellent event where existing and new partners will meet up and get to see our latest Video Surveillance offerings and partner plans.”

Security Technology Live also continues to receive industry-wide support. Mike Hurst, Vice Chairman – Strategy, ASIS International UK Chapter, has announced their support for the event: “Whilst there are numerous security events in the UK each year, the Security Integrator channel seems to have been overlooked until now. The ASIS International UK Chapter is pleased to support Security Technology Live and look forward to exhibiting there in 2014 and beyond.”

Security Technology Live 2014 will also focus on driving standards and delivering an education platform to focus on new technology, in particular on how to develop a future proofed business model able to deal with evolving technologies and demands from customers.

To that extent, organisers Clarion Events are delighted to have secured support from the SSAIB. Andrew Brown, Marketing Manager, SSAIB, was keen to comment: “We welcome the launch of Security Technology Live in 2014 as a channel network event, since it offers an important chance to explain all the advantages that third party inspection brings and promote quality products and services throughout the industry.”

Security Technology Live 2014 will help the UK and European installer community as it faces the challenges of adapting to an increasingly sophisticated residential and commercial security environment.

Security manufacturers and distributors interested in meeting the security channel market should contact the Security Technology Live team or visit www.securitytechnologylive.com/exhibit to understand how the event can help grow their business in 2014.

Exhibiting stand rates start from £250 per sqm, but this final early bird offer will only last until 30 September 2013.
