Reseller agreement

PureTech Systems, a US-based geospatial video analytics firm, announced that it has entered into a new reseller agreement with BAE Systems. The agreement will allow customers to purchase PureActiv products, installation and support services from BAE Systems’ Maritime & Defense Solutions (M&DS) business area.

BAE Systems, Inc. employs over 41,000 employees in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Israel and South Africa. BAE Systems M&DS specializes as a security systems installer.

The agreement covers the PureTech Systems product line, which includes a geospatial video management system, intelligent video analytics, camera auto follow features, forensic video capability, and perimeter sensor integrations and the ability to deploy as a server or edge-device architecture. It also encompasses training, support and software support services.

“BAE Systems customers are faced with complex security challenges and high value assets that need critical protection,” said Kris Busch, vice president and general manager, BAE Systems M&DS. “The partnership with PureTech Systems enables us to provide a new level of proactive, intelligent video solutions for our customers, and when combined with our own security expertise, reduce security threats and risks.”

“Our new relationship with BAE Systems and their position as a worldwide security integrator is a great opportunity for PureTech Systems,” said Larry Bowe, president of PureTech Systems. “Teaming with a worldwide integrator with the reputation and performance capability of BAE Systems will allow us to offer our geospatial video analytics and advanced PTZ camera control to a much wider customer base. In addition, this new relationship will allow PureTech Systems and BAE Systems to pursue new initiatives throughout the perimeter intrusion market. We are honored to be working with such a highly qualified organization.”

The new agreement was signed last month and the two are working to communicate the details of the agreement throughout their firms.
