Milestone Systems, the Danish IP video management software (VMS) company, has promoted from within for a new position at the head offices. In the new role, Karl Erik Traberg, pictured, will have overall responsibility for corporate communications and strategic developments. One of the most important tasks will be to synchronise all communications internally and externally in relation to the company’s new strategies.
With more than 20 years of international business experience in high-tech sales, marketing, communications, business development and corporate strategy, Karl Erik Traberg also has knowledge of Milestone Systems, where he has been responsible for business development, strategy and market analysis since 2008, most recently as Head of Corporate Development.
“I welcome Karl Erik in this new role to leverage his history with our company and from his background. He will apply strong skills to orchestrating Milestone’s communications for all of our stakeholders,” says Lars Thinggaard, President and CEO of Milestone Systems.
Traberg has been the Head of Marketing and Strategy for the Danish subsidiary of the Japanese company Anritsu (formerly GN NetTest), a provider in the telecommunications sector. He has also been Director for Account Marketing and Requirements and Senior Manager for Product Marketing and Sales Operations at Alcatel in the United States.
