GJD, the British manufacturer of external detector equipment has recently launched a range of IP detectors. Combining signal processing, PoE communications and unique optical systems, the new detectors integrate with existing security systems and VMS (video management software), the Lancashire firm says.
Suitable for all sector requirements, the D-TECT IP products support Milestone, Mirasys, Seetec, Kentima Ethiris and Griffid to name a few of the VMS systems. Compatible camera systems include Axis, Bosch, Sony and Mobotix. Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director said: “Our new D-TECT IP detectors provide real-time remote access to enable remote monitoring from anywhere and at any time”.
The D-TECT IP range offers scalable benefits including programmable beam detection and coverage settings. Combining Power over Ethernet with a bespoke web based interface, the D-TECT IP affords intuitive online access. The user can also change all of the detector settings remotely. Some of the adjustable settings include the ability to alter the LUX level trigger, sensitivity (Pulse Count), detection range as well as ‘light on’ timers.
All of the detectors use Power over Ethernet where recording starts automatically, cameras are directed to the location of intrusion and guards are alerted with detailed alarm information. For more about GJD’s D-TECT IP range, email [email protected].
