INTERPOL World Congress

More than 70 percent of the exhibition space for INTERPOL World, a new international security event in April 2015 in Singapore, has been booked, the organisers report. Technologies on show include Facial Recognition software, Biometrics, Command and Control systems, Mobile and IT Forensics, Unmanned Systems, Anti-counterfeiting solutions, Geospatial Intelligence, Identity Management and Access Control and Physical Security Information Management.

Owned by INTERPOL, the international police body and supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore, INTERPOL World will focus on Cybersecurity, Safe Cities, Border Management and Supply Chain Security. INTERPOL World will also be exhibiting at the 83rd INTERPOL General Assembly, on November 3 to 7, 2014 at Monte Carlo, Monaco. Apart from the INTERPOL World Expo, open to trade and professional visitors, the event will also feature seminars, forums and dialogues.

On 13 April 2015, the INTERPOL World Dialogue is a forum for government policy makers, influencers and industry to identify and engage in discussions pertaining to impending and future threats facing the global security industry. The INTERPOL World Congress, from April 14 to 16, 2015, is a knowledge sharing forum.

INTERPOL will also be hosting two events alongside INTERPOL World. The INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI), a research and development facility for the identification of crimes and criminals, innovative training, operational support and partnerships, will officially open on April 13.

The INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference, scheduled for April 15 to 17, 2015, is a meeting for policy and strategy matters of police co-operation between the Asian member countries and the crime situation are discussed. The first INTERPOL World will take place in Singapore in April 2015 alongside the official opening of the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation and the 22nd INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference.
