DirectIP integration

by Mark Rowe

IDIS has announced Lenel factory testing of its DirectIP network video recorders (NVRs) with Lenel’s OnGuard access control. IDIS has become a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP).

The integration provides Lenel customers with DirectIP integration and through its OnGuard software.

Brian Song, Managing Director of IDIS Europe said: “DirectIP combined with Lenel’s OnGuard offers customers a powerful integrated management platform to streamline security operations and provide quick video identification of critical events to enable a faster and more accurate response to threats and incidents. The successful completion of the integration continues our commitment to providing cost effective and flexible security solutions, and extends our capability within the corporate enterprise sectors.”

The companies add that their integration allows DirectIP to work including live video, record, play-back, pan-tilt-and-zoom (PTZ) control and allows operators to manage users from the unified OnGuard platform to deliver event and alarm correlation with HD video verification.

James Wheeler, UK Director, Lenel, said: “IDIS has completed the required factory testing to validate the interface of DirectIP™ with OnGuard. This integration also allows customers to upgrade to DirectIP as well as blending existing and legacy CCTV through the OnGuard platform. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
