A Bradford-based security company has announced a new partnership with Barclays to assist with its growth plans. The move to the bank includes a new funding deal which will provide working capital, sales finance and funding through the new National Loan Guarantee Scheme (NLGS).

Kings Security Systems Ltd, based at Ripley Street, Bradford was established in 1968 and provides retail loss prevention and commercial security systems to the UK market. Clients range from retail to banking, educational and government sectors to nursing and residential homes.

Anthony King, Managing Director of Kings said: “We’ve recently secured new contracts and felt that the time was right to find a new financial partner to support us in the next phase of our growth strategy. Barclays has provided a suite of banking products which includes working capital, sales finance and the new National Loan Guarantee Scheme, giving us the confidence and flexibility to explore new markets.”

The company, which employs more than 400 staff , has a turnover of £25m. The firm says its new funding will provide the flexibility for the business to explore new products and services to meet their growth strategy. And Richard Howarth, Relationship Director at Barclays said: “It’s great to see Kings Security Systems continuing to develop and expand despite the current economic climate. The new funding means that the company is well placed to take advantage of opportunities arising and leaves the business well positioned for further growth within its chosen markets.”
