The security product company Webeye Limited has appointed Gary Frith as Business Development Director. Gary, pictured, brings 30 years of sales and business development experience.

Before joining Webeye, Gary was the UK and Ireland Commercial agent for RSI Video Technologies, the French manufacturer of battery operated, visual verification security products, growing it from a start-up position to the supplier of deployable video alarms.

Clive Mason, Managing Director, Webeye, says: ‘Gary is joining Webeye at a very exciting time. His talents in all aspects of sales, marketing planning and implementation came to our attention as UK agent for Videofied, one of our major suppliers and we were keen to bring him on-board once the opportunity arose. We feel he will be the ideal fit to build on the already phenomenal global growth of webeye.’

Gary says: ‘I’ve worked closely with Webeye Limited for the past eight years and seen them grow to become the leading valued added distributor of Videofied products. I feel this is a tremendous opportunity to join Webeye at this moment of unprecedented expansion and to build on their already enviable reputation. I’m also looking forward to work with and help expand webeye’s product and service portfolio.’

Gary graduated from Middlesex University and the FH Reulingen Business School near Stuttgart. His early career was spent in Germany working for REHAU AG & Co and Alexander Proudfoot Plc. where he was able to oversee a 30pc productivity improvement after implementing his plan for new work methods and systems. On return to the UK Gary worked in consultancy roles for several companies including Spicers Ltd, an office products wholesaler and Ramtech Electronics Ltd where he set up a CCTV business within the company specialising in IP network video.

In 2008 Gary started work for RSI Video Technologies as their sole representative in the UK and Ireland. One of his main responsibilities was creating their sales and marketing particularly looking to recruit regional distribution partners. This is where his professional relationship with Webeye Limited started.
