Aperio product at Axis showcase

by Mark Rowe

ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the door and physical security product company, will be exhibiting its Aperio product, pictured, at this year’s Axis Partner Showcase event in Knutsford, Cheshire.

It’s running at Tenants Hall in Tatton Park on 11 October between 10am and 4pm. Axis Communications’ event is for security installers to see hardware; physical access controls, security applications, transmission and storage, and video management software.

Those attending will be able to meet with representatives from ASSA ABLOY Access Control to discuss how Aperio can enable mechanical locks to be wirelessly linked to an existing access control system.

Meeting BS EN 179 and BS EN 1125 standards, Aperio can help businesses cut energy costs, reduce time and money spent on maintenance, and help deliver a flexible access control solution that can be adapted and updated when needed, the product firm says.

Gareth Ellams, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control UK, says: “We are proud to work with Axis Communications – a trusted and engaging partner – to demonstrate how advanced access control can be combined with wireless locking technology to deliver improved efficiencies in almost any application. We will also attend Axis’ Nordic Partner Showcase in Sweden. Both events provide an ideal forum for security integrators and installers to find out about the latest innovations. We look forward to welcoming attendees to discuss the benefits that Aperio® can help realise.”
