Integrated Systems

AMG at ST14

by Mark Rowe

AMG, the British manufacturer of CCTV transmission products and 5 Megapixel cameras, is showcasing their Ethernet range at the Security Twenty 14 event, at the Marriott Bristol City Centre on Wednesday, April 23.

Products on show will include a series of ruggedised PoE Ethernet Switches, for backbone transmission, plus the ‘Wonderbox’ range of hybrid multi-service Ethernet switches that bridge the gap between IP and analogue. The company will also be highlighting its installation expertise, which enables AMG to offer what it calls total turnkey solutions for analogue and IP based systems covering power, data infrastructure cabling and fibre.

Sara Bullock, pictured, Sales and Marketing Director of AMG Group, says: “Although already ONVIF compliant, the Wonderbox has recently been fully integrated with a number of third party solutions such as Meyertech’s Fusion Core Solar VMS, and Tecton. Norbain has also taken the Wonderbox into their distribution range. Over the past 20 years AMG’s success has always been underpinned by our ability to develop products in close response to both customer and market needs. The Wonderbox range is a shining example of our dedicated R&D investment – a quality, hybrid product that bridges the gap between analogue and IP transmission technologies. Enabling easy integration of low-speed serial data channels and alarm contacts, alongside analogue and IP video, we are able to dramatically reduce hardware and infrastructure requirements as well as maintenance and support costs.”

AMG adds that customers can commission installation service packages, designed to work with analogue and IP video. With fibre, AMG can now offer power and data cabling installations. Visit www.amgsystems.com.
