360 Vision integrated with Milestone

by Mark Rowe

The UK CCTV designer and manufacturer 360 Vision Technology has partnered with Milestone Systems to become a member of the Milestone Systems Camera Partner Program.

The Milestone Camera Partner Program is designed for device manufacturers in the industry to certify their products as supported by Milestone video management software (VMS), including XProtect. In the Partner Program, installers and end-users can mix hardware from manufacturers.

Now, with the announcement of 360 Vision Technology joining the Milestone program, integrators and end-users are be free to specify any HD, thermal, radar, or stainless steel camera from the 360 Vision range – for inclusion within any Milestone-controlled surveillance camera installation.

Designed to deliver situational awareness, identification and alert to activity, 360 Vision’s range of cameras come in a number of integrated technology options, and with integrated infra-red and white light LED illuminators, to deliver 24/7 imaging, the makers say.

Milestone’s software is in use in more than 100,000 installations worldwide, and based on open platform, the Milestone programme is for the widest choice of cameras to be specified, the firms add.

Mark Rees, Business Development Director, 360 Vision Technology, says: “We are delighted with our inclusion in the Milestone Camera Partner Program. Working with leading companies who are spearheading new developments in the security industry is a natural fit for us. We are very pleased that new and existing Milestone customers can now benefit from the performance advantages 360 Vision Technology cameras offer, along with Milestone’s scalable video control, recording and management solutions.”
