Milipol Paris with Cartes

by Mark Rowe

For the first time, the European Commission will be present at Milipol Paris, exhibiting at the 18th international event for internal State security which will be held on 19-22 November 2013 at Paris Nord Villepinte. The Commission will hold a conference and an exhibition and present the results of security research projects carried out by the European Union.

It has chosen the international venue of Milipol Paris 2013 to announce the launch of its “Horizon 2020 Secure Societies Challenge” research project which will start in early 2014. For the Commission, Milipol also represents an opportunity to express its opinion on the principles of European industrial security policies as well as on the way it manages both ethical and social issues. It will also report on the international outlook for security at large events.

This year, Milipol Paris will be held with the Cartes trade show, the international event for secure payment, identification and mobility solutions. Visitors to Milipol Paris therefore also receive access to Cartes. Milipol Paris will be held from 19 to 22 November at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre in Hall 5A; an international event for internal State security organised with the support of the French Ministry for the Interior.
