Morpho (Safran) reports that it has achieved the highest security printing certification from Intergraf, which offers offers certification for security printers. The award is for one of Morpho’s factories in the Netherlands. Morpho adds that it’s the first company to meet the requirements of ISO 14298, a new standard for the Management of Security Printing Processes.
Morpho offers electronic documents (passports, ID cards, driver licenses, bank cards). ISO 14298 brings together a variety of controls including logical security, physical security, quality assurance and financial security fof security throughout the printing process. Using this International Standard, the firm establishes, documents, implements and maintains a security printing management system which is reviewed for its effectiveness.
