Event ID printers

by Mark Rowe

Plastic ID have developed a range of plastic ID printers for the events market. With the number of standard, credit card sized printers now on the market, it is fairly easy to produce a standard card, the firm says. With this in mind, many event organisers are now looking for cards that offer more security and are easy to spot in crowds of people. Pridento card printers are available in two sizes. The Extended produces cards measuring 54mm by 86mm, up to 140mm high. The XXL2 will produce even larger cards of 86mm by 140mm

Richard Wylie, Plastic ID managing director says: “When it comes to large events, particularly sporting events, people want to quickly and easily identify people. Our larger format cards make this much easier as standard credit card sized cards can easily be hidden and also easily be copied. Our cards can all be pre-printed with easy colour coding to quickly determine who is allowed in which areas and to distinguish between security, participants, stewards, VIPs, press, catering etc.”

“Larger size cards are easier to pick out in a crowd and be seen from a distance. Our design team are available to help produce easily distinguishable layouts, which help make it easy to immediately recognise who has access to which areas. Apart from sporting events, the larger signs are ideal for exhibition organisers and conferences.”

Cards are produced in PVC and can be supplied with pre-printed lanyards as the finishing touch.
