Digital trust

by Mark Rowe

The French security product firm Morpho (Safran) is offering a single integrated solution which covers the full range of identity usage: identity checks, authentication, transaction security and secure archiving.

This solution according to the firm enables all service providers—banks, insurance companies, government bodies and industry actors—to offer their users a safe and secure experience throughout the digital service delivery process.

The next step in the shift to paperless transactions, electronic identity control enables users to register remotely for digital services. For example, users can complete the online registration using a mobile phone and biometric facial recognition.

This approach makes it possible to acquire and check identities securely and more cost-efficiently. Organizations can then use the identity to offer their customers digital services, including confidential information access and exchange, electronic contracting, validation of sensitive operations and long-term data archiving.

“Once again, the digital transformation is picking up momentum across all sectors, opening up tremendous opportunities in terms of new added-value services for citizens and consumers, growth potential for companies and more efficient processes,” declared Laurent Fournié, VP Market Development & Solutions at Morpho’s Digital Security and Authentication division. “However, this digital revolution will only succeed if exchanges are secured, privacy is protected and users trust the technologies. Morpho is responding to this challenge by designing the most comprehensive trusted platform available on the market.”

Morpho will present its solutions at Les Assises de la Sécurité (Monaco, September 30-October 3, 2015). Visit www.morpho.com.
