VSG awards at BSIA lunch

by Mark Rowe

Vision Security Group (VSG), part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, picked up eight awards at the annual British Security Industry Association (BSIA) lunch in mid-July.

The BSIA’s Security Personnel Awards, in their 18th year, mark the dedication, loyalty, teamwork, customer service skills, use of technology and bravery of staff and teams.

After the regional BSIA awards presented in April, some 13 VSG teams and individuals went through to the national judging phase. Altogether, nine individuals (one joint award) were recognised, by winning seven awards and a special commendation. The winners attended the BSIA’s Annual Luncheon in July where they were presented with their awards, pictured.

Barry Dawson, Managing Director for VSG, among the attenders, said: “I am extremely proud that VSG has won numerous BSIA National Awards. It is a fantastic achievement, the BSIA is a prestigious industry body so it is great that our team’s commitment and hard work has been recognised by them. Everyone in the VSG team sets themselves an incredibly high standard to aspire to which enables us to continuously provide excellent service to our clients.”

VSG provides security services across the UK and Ireland and was established in 2000.
