Guarding

Trio of award nominations

by Mark Rowe

Axis Security has for the second year in a row been selected in three categories at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards, including Security Guarding Company of the Year, an award the company won last year and in 2011. This is also the fourth consecutive year that Axis Security has been nominated for this award.

Axis Security reports a turnover rising from £2.4 million to £49 million in just six years and an ACS score that has increased year-on-year placing it in the top 5pc of ACS security companies in the UK. It has again been shortlisted for ACS Champion of the Year, a title the company hopes to retain from its win last year.

The third nomination, and a new award category for the company, is for the Contributions to Standards in the Security Sector award, for the company’s use of training and site audits, internal employee awards and its development of contract management and performance measurement software.

Jonathan Levine, pictured, Axis Group CEO, says: “We won Security Guarding Company of the Year both last year and three years ago, and to get a hat-trick of nominations two years in a row demonstrates our commitment to delivering the highest security standards in the industry. We continue to instil and develop best practice through technology, auditing, training and client communication.”
