by Mark Rowe

GVA, the UK commercial property advisor, has awarded a contract to provide security services at its UK commercial sites to the facilities management company OCS. The three-year contract, which began in November 2013, covers security across the GVA commercial portfolio in Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, St Albans and Milton Keynes. The FM firm delivers a range of security services to GVA, including manned guarding, mobile patrols, key holding and alarm response. Jane Sheard, UK Managing Director of Facilities Services at OCS, said: “A quality security service, which ensures the safety of people and property, is essential for both owners and occupants of commercial buildings. Our security teams are trained and vetted to the very highest standards and we work closely alongside our clients to provide a bespoke service which matches their security requirements.”
