NFC deployment award

by Mark Rowe

MyTAG.io reports that its technology platform has supported CityPoint in London EC2, pictured, in winning the Best NFC (Near Field Communication) Deployment award at the RFID Journal Awards in Florida. The award was won for the MyTAG.io installation at London’s CityPoint office building, with HID Global, which is being used to track keys, monitor patrols and manage contractors.

MyTAG.io says that it has improved the key management process, saving time and replacing old, paper-based systems. Security patrols deliver greater peace of mind for tenants and employees, through proof of presence and more accurate and detailed reporting. Accurate, auditable time and attendance also provides detailed electronic records of visitors, facilitating contractor management and accurate invoicing.

Mike George, Director MyTAG.io said: “We are delighted that MyTAG.io has been recognised for its unique technology. The trusted proof of presence, security and tracking solutions can be used to safeguard people, property and assets. The system is straightforward and low cost to install, savings time and money in the property and facilities management sectors by replacing outdated processes with trusted and secure cloud based solutions.”
