MITIE extends

by Mark Rowe

A three year contract for security at 125 Old Broad Street in the City of London was re-awarded to MITIE after its initial win in 2008, through a competitive tender process. The contract is with BNP Paribas Real Estate, a division of the financial services group to secure its 26-floor multi-tenanted landmark building.

MITIE says that its total security management team has worked with BNP Paribas at 125 Old Broad Street to create a culture of security within the building, creating efficiencies through value-add initiatives and serving the other tenants.

Bob Forsyth, managing director at MITIE’s total security management business said: “I am delighted to have extended the 125 Old Broad Street account for another three years. It’s really exciting to see how the dedication of the onsite security team and the management team has created such a positive security culture.” And Stephen Wallace-Jones, general manager, BNP Paribas added: “I look forward to a continued professional approach from the MITIE team over the next three years. The service provided over the last five years has been proactive, dedicated and cost effective.” Visit www.mitie.com
