IPSA fellow

by Mark Rowe

Simon Pears is featured in the February 2014 print issue of Professional Security magazine, as Sodexo’s new global security director. He has been honoured with a Fellowship to the International Professional Security Association (IPSA).

This follows Simon’s recognition as a Chartered Security Professional. Simon was instrumental in establishing and delivering Secure by Sodexo, its security arm.

Michael White, chairman of IPSA, said: “Simon has continuously demonstrated his commitment to IPSA. He has encouraged others to become part of the association, participated on the Management Board and International Council, represented the association on industry committees at both national and international level, and generously supported the sourcing of unique venues for our events. It is an absolute pleasure and honour to be able to present Simon with his Fellowship and justifiably mark his immense contribution, not only to IPSA, but to the UK security industry.”
