by Mark Rowe

Kings Security Systems was awarded the ‘Guarding Service Delivery to the Customer’ award at the recent IFSEC awards.

This international award recognises a security guarding company that has proposed and delivered an innovative solution for a customer, above and beyond the normal contractual arrangements.

Kings beat off competition from UK and overseas security firms. The company was praised for its higst standards of service delivery and innovation to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, an aircraft wheels and brakes supplier.

Phil Bolton, Security Controller for Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems said: “This award is justified recognition of Kings’ on and off-site teams and their proactive approach in exceeding our specified requirements. They utilised both best practice and available technology in what is an ever-evolving market.”

Anthony King, managing director of Kings Security Systems said: “We are thrilled to be independently recognised for our business acumen, people skills and technology expertise, through these iconic security industry awards. At Kings we take a bespoke, partnership approach to each client’s challenge, creating out-of-the-box security solutions that deliver the highest levels of security cost-efficiently, whilst adding value. For this particular client, we were able to design an alternative security solution that offered reduced manning levels than first anticipated, in conjunction with the latest technologies that would improve overall security and fire safety. The result was a streamlined and modern integrated security solution that suited the clients long-term needs.”
