Hochiki at Intersec

by Mark Rowe

Hochiki Middle East, part of the Hochiki Group, will be showcasing its life safety systems at this year’s Intersec exhibition in Dubai. The firm will be on on stand D12 Hall 3 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 21 to 23, 2018.

Alongside live product demonstrations, the Hochiki Middle East team will be offering advice on trends and technology in life safety, plus guidance on legislative compliance.

FireNET, an analogue addressable UL and FM approved system, will be one of the ranges on show. The system’s control panel uses the company’s patented Digital Communication Protocol (DCP), allowing for intelligent communication with any combination of addressable devices, the product firm says.

Also on display is L@titude, an EN approved life safety platform that helps customers locate and examine incidents occurring across premises in real time, from any location. The platform integrates addressable loop detection circuits, conventional detection circuits, relay cards and additional sounder outputs, enabling users to create what the manufacturer terms a customisable life safety system. A UL approved version of L@titude will be available in 2018.

Robert Head, Assistant Managing Director at Hochiki Middle East, said: “Intersec is one of the Middle East’s most important events when it comes to safety and security. For us, it is a powerful platform to increase our visibility and meet new and prospective customers. We’re looking forward to meeting like-minded industry professionals to discuss the latest safety and security trends, and explore opportunities to widen our presence in the region.”

Other Hochiki products and systems on display:

– LEAKalarm, an addressable water detection system;
– FIREscape, a self-testing, LED emergency lighting system, pictured;
– FIREwave, Hochiki Europe’s hybrid wireless range;
– Hochiki’s addressable and conventional marine approved ranges, and
– SIL approved devices for high risk environments.

More than 1,300 exhibitors are expected.
