WiseNet Lite range

by Mark Rowe

Pro-Vision Distribution Limited, the Shropshire-based distributor of branded CCTV and access control equipment, are now offering Samsung’s new WiseNet Lite range from stock.

Simon Davies, Internal Sales Manager for Pro-Vision Distribution, said: “Samsung has launched a range of high definition cameras under the WiseNet Lite series to provide installers with keenly priced alternatives to their highly acclaimed, feature rich, Open Platform WiseNetIII models. The bullet cameras and domes in the new range provide a high performance video surveillance solution for retail applications and offices that simply require high definition cameras to capture evidence grade images. As well as an affordable solution for larger projects where a greater number of cameras may be needed.

“The 1.3MP and 2MP Full HD WiseNet Lite models share many of the features built into the WiseNetIII range – including intelligent video analytics, motion detection, privacy masking zones, audio support, PoE and a SD/SDHC memory slot. They also benefit from a Hallway view function for monitoring narrow vertical areas such as corridors, tunnels and aisles. This allows the cameras to capture images with a 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio that works effectively in tall and narrow spaces – with the added bonus of minimising bandwidth and video storage requirements.”
