This year’s Secutech Thailand is expecting to attract around 140 exhibitors on July 3 to 5, 2012 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok, Thailand.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and International Promotion & Exhibition Co Ltd (IPEX), Secutech Thailand covers the sectors of security, fire and safety as well as disaster prevention and homeland security. Brands such as 3M, Axis, Dahua, Fujifilm, Hikvision, LG, Samsung, Sony and Vivotek have signed up for the show. The total exhibition area will be 5,240 sqm and more than 5,500 visitors are expected to attend.

Industry issues
This year’s Secutech Thailand sees the launch of a new event called the HD IP and SDI Camera Demonstration which helps buyers to choose the most appropriate cameras for their needs. During the event, brands of HD cameras will shoot the same environment at the same time so that performance and product features can be compared. Other event highlights are the Global Digital Surveillance Forum Thailand (GDSF Thailand), Smart City Forum and the Fire & Safety Seminar.
Secutech Thailand’s last day will overlap with the start of Safety Week, an annual event organised by the Department of Protection and Welfare, under the Ministry of Labour of Thailand. The two shows will enhance safety and security awareness among trade and public visitors.
