Technology appointment

Reliance High-Tech has appointed Andy Schofield to the new role of Director of Technology.

MD Terry Sallas said: “Reliance High-Tech’s reputation is built on delivering the most advanced and capable systems so it’s imperative that we continually invest in our knowledge of the latest and best technology.”

Andy, who was previously the head of sales automation at Chubb Fire and Security, brings over 20 years’ experience in the fire and security markets and has a focus on IT and business processes. He held a number of IT and commercial roles at Chubb and their parent company UTC.

Schofield said: “Establishing a seamless end to end process underpinned by technology is essential to meet the needs of today’s challenging business arena. At a time when technology leads the agenda, my role is to ensure we continue to deliver the high quality solutions that Reliance High-Tech is known for, while identifying, unlocking and delivering tomorrow’s technologies to further meet the future security needs of our customers.”
