Swift roadshow

by Mark Rowe

The transmission product company Vemotion is among the exhibitors on Friday, February 27, at the Swift Technology Roadshow in Nottingham.

Hosted by Swift Fire and Security, the event at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel, will see firms showcase. Vemotion CEO Stewart McCone, pictured, is attending. He says: “Swift are a company with over 30 years’ experience and they know the industry inside and out, for us to be able to talk about our technologies at one of their roadshows is a fantastic opportunity to share our product with other market leaders. Our solutions are changing the way people think about CCTV and this event is just another platform for us to explain how Vemotion’s transmission technology can continue to improve public safety.”

Vemotion offer wireless video transmission products to cater for town centre management, crowd control and mobile and deployable CCTV for incident response. At the day, Stewart will deliver the case for streaming video and data over a range of networks, including low bit rate networks such as 3G and GPRS which can be accessed on any handheld device.

“There are so many benefits of Vemotion’s security transmissions, but seeing is believing and that’s why demonstrate at events like this are such a great opportunity,” said Stewart. “We can provide wireless CCTV solutions that are cost effective, highly flexible and easy to deploy, but more importantly can be integrated into and supplement existing hard wired CCTV networks.”

Vemotion’s products were in use at sporting events last summer during the Yorkshire stages of the Tour de France and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Also on show will be some mobile cameras, convergence technology, asset tracking, video analytics and IP based CCTV. The day from 10.30am to 2.30pm, will be broken down into seminars and a lunchtime exhibition. Visit www.vemotion.com.
