SMAhome is a new zone to be launched at Secutech 2014. Secutech will be held from March 19 to 21, 2014 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taiwan. Entering its 17th edition, the show will continue to serve the electronic security, fire and safety industries.

Parson Lee, Managing Director for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, the fair’s organiser, introduced the new zone: “SMAhome will be a designated area with smart home devices, parts and solutions for international traders looking to explore new business opportunities.” The area will showcase technologies including home security and access control applications, home automation, HVAC & energy-saving applications, wireless, remote control and monitoring integrations.

The 2014 show is expected to attract more than 560 exhibitors. Among confirmed exhibitors are Dahua (China), Everfocus (Taiwan), HDPRO (Korea), Seagate (US) and Toshiba (Japan). About 80 percent of participating brands are planning to launch new products in the first quarter of 2014, Secutech says.

Managing Software & Solutions is the theme for the 2014 Global Digital Security Forum (GDSF). Holding concurrently, GDSF for 2014 will focus on large-scale security management, PSIM, homeland security solutions, parking and more. The event serves as an educational seminar to explore the latest market applications.
