Marketing manager

by Mark Rowe

Norbain SD Ltd, the Reading-based distributor of electronic security products has appointed Caroline Kitchin as its new marketing manager.

Caroline, who has been with the company for over seven years, will be handling all aspects of their marketing campaigns in the UK, including events, advertising, press and web presence.

Caroline says: “We’ve got a really exciting year of marketing activity ahead of us. We’re working closely with our suppliers to provide marketing support in line with their product launches and promotions as well as ensuring we enhance Vista’s brand presence in the UK. As part of this, Vista will have their own stand at IFSEC for the first time, where the primary focus will be on its new range of IP CCTV products. We’ll also be running a series of road shows across the year and boosting Norbain’s profile, really highlighting the benefits of dealing with us as a partner for CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection projects.”

Charlie Lacey, sales and marketing director, says: “We have a wealth of activity planned for this year, welcoming six new suppliers and supporting 14 new product launches in Q2 alone. Vista is also really strengthening its position as an IP provider, launching new ranges to match market demand and taking advantage of new innovations in technology. It’s important for Norbain to be able to communicate these changes and advantages to the market, and Caroline’s appointment is key to achieving this.”
