Sharjah’s 250-store Sahara Mall in Dubai, has an upgraded security system with equipment from AMG Systems, the British manufacturer of Megapixel cameras and CCTV transmission products, and installed by Ibam Systems.
Liz George, Project Engineer at Ibam Systems, says: “Compared to locally-available fiber transmitters, I found AMG’s equipment to be very simple to install. What I personally noticed was that the link between the receiver and transmitter was almost instantaneous once they were powered up. The build quality of the equipment is of a high grade and the whole subrack and housing of the products gives the solution high class visual appearance. I would personally recommend their support and solutions to other systems integrators and for any of our future projects requiring fibre solutions.”

In total, there are now 160 cameras throughout the entire complex, 27 of which feature PTZ. Areas covered by the new camera systems include parking lots, walkways, and entrances and enable us to ensure the safety of the clients and staff of the 250 stores now housed within the complex. For Public Address, the system is divided into multiple zones to provide targeted announcements to different areas.”
