Videcon the CCTV distributor are introducing the Viola 2 digital video recorder (DVR).

The company says that as the result of product and software development, the DVR provides 960H resolution with the HDMI output which is a first for this range, the West Yorkshire-based firm says. According to the distributor it provides the installer with a complete set up and maintains all the features of its predecessor, such as full camera play-back, mobile phone viewing, and remote connection. The product displays a more advanced GUI interface and comes in four, eight or 16 channels.
