Norbain can now offer the new Pelco by Schneider Electric Evolution 360-degree camera range. Developed with Oncam Grandeye, the camera provides the customer with situational awareness.

This new IP camera range has Oncam Grandeye’s 360-degree technology and patented dewarping software. The dewarping feature allows users to go back in time to view the total scene in its original form and then pan, tilt and/or zoom (PTZ) within the 360-degree image, as if it were a live image. Multiple users can view the same image, with different perspectives, concurrently from a single camera, live or recorded.

The Evolution 360-degree cameras – IP cameras with 5-megapixel sensors and no moving parts – are compatible with most applications the firms claim including cities, retail and casino gaming. Features include:

360-degree camera view
Retrospective dewarping technology
Multiple users
Pelco/Oncam Grandeye range of form factors; and range of camera designs.
